At Manus in Mano, we use 18K gold plating over 925 sterling silver. Like silver, gold-plated items may lose their luster or show slight fading over time, especially when exposed to air, water, perfumes, or chemical-based cosmetics. To maintain the shine, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hand sanitizers, and cleaning products. If the plating on your piece has worn off, we offer re-plating and maintenance services—just get in touch with us.
